This issue has a good mix of cards for different occasions, from Spring time birthdays, Mother's Day, a couple for the men in our lives and loving occasions like Anniversaries, Weddings and Valentine's. Quite a cocktail!
Our new découpage, toppers, paper and card, feature some really cute kittens. With paw prints and texture effect backgrounds to match they make charming cards in many styles for any cat lover. Or, there is a bike with garage or gardener's corner which will have wide appeal.
Peel-off stickers, ever versatile, are the centre of some very pretty designs, a butterfly pop-up box, a floral aperture and a heartfelt Valentine that would convert to an Anniversary, so easily.
Other Anniversary ideas include a ribbon based ring cushion and a Champagne bottle, using dies or cut by hand, it would be perfect for any celebration. A pocket-fold wedding day card which gives plenty of scope for scrapbook style decoration, adapt it to suit other events like a baby card, too.
Printed paper is a core material for most crafters and there are several ideas centred around this with Pretty Parcels - simple but so charming. Wedding Bunting uses monotone papers to make an easy, beautiful card that could change occasion really well and Moonlit Silhouette, a romantic scene. A little more complicated are File Folders, scrapbook style files with lots of bits inside and a Pretty Dressing Table, a girly scene with lots of neat details.
Stitch work includes a cross stitch card with an optional needle wallet, An Easter Cross in hardanger work and a prick and stitch border for a birthday card.
Also featuring free machine embroidery is a beautiful project on batik painted daisies.
So, lots to enjoy.
